Książęce Czerwony Lager

This is another beer I picked up while in Poland. The color is a nice light brown, somewhat  red.  It is quite bitter, leaves the mouth dry and didn't leave a pleasant aftertaste at all. It is listed as having  4.9 percent alcohol, so the bitterness definitely came from the ingredients. It is also a bottom fermented beer, though I don't know that that has anything to do with the odd taste.  I think it is a beer meant to be had with some food, spicy or bbq, as the taste was again, quite bitter, and it gave off a quite a "hoppy"' aroma. Wasn't one of the better ambers I've had, but happy to have tried it.

Fun fact: The label has a red crown to commemorate the King Sobieski, who was born the same year the Tyskie Brewery was founded in 1629.
